Replace the filters more often. When they get too much build up in them, the motor has to work harder and makes more noise.

Yea its not welcome everywhere. I try to announce when I am switching it on. Fun fixing a toner spill in a call centre. The less air that goes thru it the faster the motor run.
I only use the restricting nozzles where i need to, the rest I use the pipe straight up and a paint brush.
      Whatever

If the motor cannot cool itself, it will overheat. Just saying. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
