    OKI C9850

I haven't worked on the oki printers for a few years now but i was sent to look at a oki c9850 that is putting background on the prints. there is background on plain paper but its not really noticeable but when using thicker card it gets a lot worse. this is a new printer and i cleaned id sensors, LEDs and tried using all the different paper weight and type settings. i did some test prints using single colours and its still the same. on a full colour prints the background looks magenta but on the single black print its appears black. I stopped the print job so it jammed just after it put the image on the paper and its putting background on the paper when the image is put on the paper, this is from the first pcu which is black. also tried adjusting the density levels in the user menu but made no difference.Again this is a new printer, are there any settings to do before using as i dont think any where made from first being used. also i can't remember how to get into service mode just to check if any settings are out of default range. thanks
