I solved the other problem with the DL650 and now it's working great.
Now another (hopefully final) problem has came up. It has the option for "Print" mode, which is for printing via the LPT1 port. No matter what I do, it will not go to print mode. It only switches between the other two copy and store modes. I think it may be due to a missing hard drive or a missing DIMM.
That brings up another question, is the hard drive for this copier in a custom-enclosure type thing or is it just a plain laptop hard drive that is plugged into the copier? The service manual only mentiones the part number, nothing much more.
I think the HDD is required for server mode, which may be realted to print mode.
Anyways, if anyone can shed light on this, I'd appreciate it.
