It turned out to be a screw in the bottom of the fuser that was putting too much pressure on the hinged section that holds the transfer roller. Likely caused be me when I fixed the web drive. Oh well live and learn. Thanks for all the great suggestions

Hi m8,
had this problem a handful of times, the solution is to look at the plastic black guide that sits above the bypass roller and in front of the registration sensor, grab it with both hands and push it towards the registration sensor actuator, that will do the trickLeave a comment:

I swapped the rightside door from a parts machine and the result is the same, paper stops at the second set of duplex rollers. It makes it out of the turnover section with the first side printed but doesn't make it out of the duplexer to print the second side. I can't remember the jam code but it refers to the paper failing to make it to duplex sensor 4. Thanks for your responses, any more thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Guest repliedthe problem is coming from the registraion sensor it needs to be modified by making it slightly longer coz when you make normal copies it works fine, but when you make duplex copies your paper is coming from another angle so at times it doesnt triger that sensor try and tell me the result.

DP2310 duplex jam
I am working on a DP2310 that is driving me nuts. When you try to duplex it will jam every time in the duplexer. The paper stops at the 1st set of rollers behind the transfer roller. The jam code relates to not making it duplex sensor 4. I checked all duplex sensor in I/O mode and they check OK. I have replaced the clutch in the duplexer, it didn't help. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Darren
