    DP-3010 copy quality issue!

Having a copy quality issue! replaced drum, cleaning blade and dev. getting void spot on frame side when making copies and internal prints F7's frame side words are streaking and tops are nice and neat! Looks like I am not getting equal pressure across drum! Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!

You probably need to adjust your lsu. There is an adjusting bracket on the front side of the copier, you need to move the lever up if you get sawtooth shaped blank spots on the backside of machine.(make an all black copy to test). Problem is that the lazer writes on the charge roller instead of the drum . It happened on a few of our 2310/3010.

May also want to check your bias transfer roller and it's springs mounted on the door. I believe I remember getting a similar issue a few years ago due to poor contact between the contacts on door @ the BTR area and the inside of frame area (found them to be arcing causing image issues). Memory not quite as good as it used to be but maybe it'll help.. LOL.. Good Luck..

Any chance you can swap out image units? It might be your Mag roller. My favorite feature on the Panasonics is the Page Memory Test in F1 mode. It will tell you everything that's wrong with copy quality in one printout (even a good test for paper jams). It prints a checkerboard pattern, and if you pull trays, you can have it print to any cassette. Run the page memory test and see if the pattern repeats, if it does my guess would be the Mag roller.
