[Electrical] DP-C262 w/ E3-22, New Model Fan Installed

We replaced the Toner Fan w/ new model per bulletin but problem still returns intermittently. SM says EC pwb. $600 for a stinking fan rotation error just kills me. Anyone else had this happen?

Pull out your toner bottle. I check connector (between toner bottle with hopper). I have this problem before with DP-3030 when I replace Drum, cleaning blade and developer. Good luck.

Did you replace 2 fans per the bulletin, or just the toner fan? I had a similar issue with a C322 and that fixed it.

Replace the IH driver fan as well. Rear upper left corner.

That's the one I was talking about as part of the 2 in the bulletin...but forgot what it was called!

That is the easiest one! There is another one in which the fan is behind the SC board. You have to remove half the machine to get to that bugger. Then there is the one inside the right door; no picnic either.

Thanks for sharing with replies. I incorrectly assummed the fan behind the toner bottles was the toner bottle fan when it was the IH Driver Fan. Replaced the fan behind the main board which actually is the toner bottle fan and problem is solved.

Don't forget to order new style fans. Panasonic would be delighted to sell you old style fans. Clear up all that old stock for them. I learned the hard way. =^..^
