Workio 150 UFR replacement

I am a Canon tech with 15 years working on a Pnasonic DP 150. It has a worn upper fuser roller. I have looked for assembles but have only found the rollers. Are the pretty easy to change? Again I have done all Canon and HP printer models like that with the heat bulb in there.

Second question: I got the two mounting screws out and guess the connectors are keeping it from releasing from the copier. Do I take the back panel off or side cover to get at the connectors?

its better to replace the entire fuser, rather than repair. the cost for the parts and labour is not worth the repair, plus you have to check the fingers, and bushings as they sometime break. yes you have to take of the back cover to remove the fuser as the connectors are there.

Any suggestions on where to get the fuser assemble?

Precision Roller carries it: Results for PANASONIC 150 FUSER
(They sell it at a lower price if you set up a dealer acct) But you may be able to buy a decent used parts machine for less than a new fuser. They are dirt cheap at the used mach wholesalers. Or at your local Ex Panas Dlr.
