    Shipment Reset?

    What exactly does Shipment Reset do? Does it do anything to the developer or drum settings, or any thing else?

      It will reset all settings back to factory default. It will prompt you to clear the counters but I do not recommend this as it can mess up CQ because it thinks all components are brand new.

          Caution:
          The factory default parameters are preset (country dependent) for optimum performance, and in compliance with the local telecommunication regulations/standards, and do not need to be changed. Changing some of these parameters may cause the unit to be no longer compliant, or become inoperable.

              Thanks for the response. I saw someone do this and I thought that it would loose the settings for the F8's on the drum and dev. Feel better now.
