The only solution is to change the SC board. Someone else on this site suggested an emergency firmware update, but I have never done it and am not sure if it works.

If the machine has or had a security kit installed the password changes to 12345678.

Reset your copier> the key signal panel > Press paper tray, zoom down key, and #1 keys simultaneously. "F1" displayed. press 8, start,then 09, start. DV will run auto for 3. Hope it helps.
