    Network Printing? UF-9000

I have a UF-9000 that I have tried to figure out how to setup network printing. I have followed the instructions in the manuals and the PC thinks it printed, but nothing comes out. The PC uses an LPR queue, I believe.

I've been a system admin for years, but this one definitely has me stumped. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Note: I can fax to email addresses through our mail server, so I know the network side of things is functioning.

alright if you are saying that you are able to scan to e-mail with no problem.... then you are either using the wrong print driver or the port is not configured properly.

When configuring the port make sure you change it to LPR
for the queue name type "lp" without the quotation marks of course
and put a check mark where it says lpr byte counting enabled.

try printing using the GDI driver instead of PCL or Post Script becuase they are options and you have to pay extra for it.

last option would be to check if user codes are enabled on the machine. I am not sure if a UF9000 has user codes but that would be the last thing before doing a firmware upgrade on the machine.

      That works!

Thanks! I was trying the PCL driver and wasn't sure what to put in for the lpr queue name (I was trying LPR1).
