Re: MPC 306 - firmware update failure.
Probably you did try to update the machine with fw for an extension that are not mounted on the mc. I did that ER 40 becouse no papperbank and it started to flash that and i ended up with i had to put a new EEprom in and from factory pappers feed all values in, Voila then it works.
Never load FW for a unit thats not mounted on MC.
lots of work for that misstake.

Re: MPC 306 - firmware update failure.
We also tried to reboot the machine with SD-card but it won't load the firmware anymore (tried several SD-cards), the machine just boot normally to the home-screen with "user tools" as only selection. After a few mins then SC673 appears...
Seems impossible to get into SP-mode because the keypad is gone (copy mode cant be selected).
Ideas anyone?Leave a comment:

Re: MPC 306 - firmware update failure.
Hi,
When updating the firmware we got E-40 error (Engine download fails). When rebooting the machine with the SD-card in service slot the machine tries to continue to load the firmware, but everytime it fails with code E-40.
When rebooting the machine without SD-card we got code 32 (The SD card used after download
suspension is incorrect)...
Is there any recovery-mode we can try to solve this without replacing controller board and/or BCU?
Thanks in advance!
press 143 and C three times (this produ.was for update firmw.failure on the old gws) the machine will bip and then turn off.Leave a comment:
