    Can you save a file scanned to doc server using WIM?

    Setting up an mp2851 on iMac and as a workaround for scanning can you save a file stored on the doc server when viewing on WIM?
    we can print the file from there is there also an option to save?

      Only if the File Format Converter option is present.

          I don't think I've ever actually seen that option in the field.

          Too little known, I guess.

          Set up FTP on the iMac or send to email.

              I always wondered what that option was for. There was no call for it out here on the periphery, well, in this part of the periphery anyway, so I never knew until right now.

                      If you can print it, you can use a PDF rendering software such as Nitro PDF or Primo PDF as the printer and create a PDF file.
