Ricoh MP 2000 when scanning black distorted bands come out on prints

When running internal prints copier prints are great every time.. when laying on glass. Prints come out with black bands or sometimes half the page is black?

Scanner lamp seems to never flicker.. I think its the scanner lenz? any suggestions. thanks
