FAX PROBLEM (MP C2503SP)

Guys, we installed four new machines (MP C2503sp) with fax options but the keypad is not working when FACSIMILE function is used. All four machines are having the same problem. When COPY function is used, the keypad is working. I tested the fax modules to the old MP C2503sp and it was working. I already updated the firmware and performed MEMORY CLEAR (FAX APPLICATION) but still the keypad is not working in FACSIMILE. Any idea how to solve the problem? TIA

I had a c5502 that I installed a fax unit on and when trying to select the fax key, nothing would happen. I had to update the LCDC firmware to get it to work. Just a thought.

Can you see the fax screen, i know when you install the fax you may need to set the quick keys on the left side that say copy print etc for it to work, in user tools there is a quick key set up to assign the keys accordingly. If your able to see the fax screen but the touchscreen is not working then i would reflash the LCDC firmware as suggested above.

I can see the fax screen. I am able to touch the HOOK or any icons in the screen. Only the NUMBER KEYS (hard keys) on the right side of the operation panel are not working in FAX function. I am not able to dial a fax number because it does not appear when I press the number keys>

external telephone is off-hook. Use this setting when
the external telephone is not by the machine, or if a
wireless telephone is connected as an external
telephone.
1: The user can dial on the machine's ten-key pad
when the handset is off-hook.
