You get quicker over time. First time I did it I took it home over the weekend and did it over about 4 hours on a Sunday. Next few times I've done it on site in 1.5 hours.
Nevertheless they last, I've let them run until they break - No PM on this maneating fuser...
And I've had a customer run so much coverage that it destroyed the surface after a couple of months. Was not happy about rebuilding it again so quickly but the customer has now been educated in their ways.
And, can you retrofit the cleaning web onto the 8002 fuser as it only comes on the other model and not this one? That would help with my customers heavy coverage.
Forgive me, maybe it doesn't translate over here but TCRU? CRU generally is customer replaceable unit but am missing the T

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
The 8100 is bad when compared to the previous model, the 907/1107, which was really pretty easy.
It's not as easy as the 907, true but I also work on the 900/901 color boxes. So for that reason I just don't think the 8100 is that bad, just different...........
