Aficio MPC3000 Noisy and Always indicate replace yellow toner

Good day Sir, I'm working with this problem noisy and always indicate replace yellow toner. I already check developing drum gears and the toner bottle is also rotating. I will also try to swap the the cyan n yellow toner pump I will vacuum first. Do you have any idea about this problem? Im the only one copier tech here in palau. Please help me. TIA

The toner pumps in these machines will often fail, you are on the right track.

If you replace the toner bottle and it starts working, the RFID chip on the toner bottle is defective. If you have already tried replacing the toner bottle, change SP 3045 from 0 to 1 and cycle power. If it then starts working, replace the RFID board on the back of the toner supply. Note, a bottle with a bad RFID chip can still be used with SP 3045 set to 1, you just will not get a tone almost out notification at 17% remaining and the toner Icon will not work.

Sirs, Thank you so much for the quick reply. The toner pump yellow has a problem and I also execute the SP 3045. One thing more how can I remove the " You dont have privileges to use this function"? Bec. I will reconfigure the IP add of the machine. TIA

If there is an admin lock out in place you may be able to get the administrator password from the customer, Otherwise login as supervisor with no password and you can then reset the administrator password, supervisor account can only do this so it will not let you change the IP address

Also on the toner issue it is almost always the pump, open sp 3201 take a note of the TD value for Y use sp 3015 to run a forced toner supply, then SP 3201 to check the result, If the volatage does not go down by much more than a few 10ths of a volt no toner is getting down, before you change the pump be sure to clean out the toner pipes as they will be clogged with all the toner the rotating bottle has put out

Its the dev unit drive gear on the machine side probably striped. had it a few times!
