If you pop the cover, you can get to everything that might need cleaning without disassembling any of the guts - alignment is critical, you don't need to risk taking anything apart.

I have seen polygon mirrors collect enough dirt to cause a problem, and I've seen the motor fail and cause a 322 (usually its a 320)

Remember the Laser is Infared, so the optical components can be hazed and not look dirty in visible light.

        Is the LD beam light?
You can check it by the digital camera or mobile camera while doing sp 2103 5&6.

If no, you need to check the 5 volts on LD board (connect by door switch)or replace the flat cable or the LD board

If the light appears you need to do 2 steps

        1) clean the tow laser diodes it self you need to do that unshelled the laser diodes from the board and use the contact spray to clean them reinstall the LD unit then increase the value in sp mode to 2103 1,2,3 and 4the max and try the machine

        2) you need to align the LD board on the LD unit carefully, I do this using oscilloscope and I do that while connect the output of synchronize sensor to the oscilloscope and use SP 2103 5&6 and align the LD board to the LD unit by hand until I see the signal from oscilloscope.

This gets my vote, I'd say it's more likely that the LD unit itself, even if this machine is a good few years old. It's a good place to start anyway, the batch of switches that fails most is over the fuser.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Hit it.

Try to change the polygon motor in the laser unit!

                laser malfunction

time to try another ld unit, on older 10 series we used to"raise the unit up with a flathead screwdriver befor tightening the screws" would help the alignment. j

IVSB may be right. You have covered a lot of bases with no good results. I have seen the front door safety switches go bad due to toner in that area and cause wierd problems. They actually have a tech bulletin out for the same problem on the B003 or B079, I can't remember which.
