    Ricoh mp 9000

    Hi Guys,
    how does one access files stored in the document server on MP 9000 from a pc in AF 2090 it is quite simple can some one guide me please

        dont login as admin, just a user.

          I just can't see the doc server anywhere even if i log in as a user is there some option in the copier that has to be enabled??

            if they have been scanned into the doc server they can not be accessed unless you have the file format converter, can only be printed out.

              -Check the setting of SP 5885-020 bit switches. Bit 0 set to 1 will forbid document server access.

                Thst is correct.

                The file format converter is probably the most overlooked, misunderstood option there is.

                It is hardware, and not a piece of software that can be downloaded and installed.

                I am almost positive that the same holds true for files that have been printed to the doc server, as well.

                      I can't even count the number of times I've had to explain just that to a customer.
