Guys, is there a way to print the exact color of the photos/drawings in MPC 3003sp? Printing in other machines like MPC3002 is good. Prints in MPC 3003sp is darker than prints in MPC3002.

Yeah try PCL6 driver and within the driver go to quality and somewhere there you can change the color profile to "color laser printer simulation" (or something related sounding). You'll notice a better printer gamma curve, especially in darker image areas. -

If the customer is complaining about color matching on a office class piece of equipment, you need to nip that in the butt immediately. Tell them about Fiery controllers and the in depth training they will need just to use it, as well as the cost to purchase and install it. This is not a pro model machine.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment

That said, always run ACC when you have color problems. This is especially true with the XX03's. Also run ACC on these every time you update firmware.Comment

Re: COLOR QUALITY MPC3003SP
In a word, NO. No matter what you do, the color on a color laser printer will never match exactly what you see on the computer screen, that is unles the colors are only cyan, megenta, yellow and black. Computers use the light colors red, green and blue, RBG. Printers use the pigments cyan, magenta, yellow and black. The total color pallet available to a monitor is much larger than that available to the printer.

The only way to get it close is to have the monitor calibrated and to use a machine with Fiery controller (and that is Pantone certified!)
Otherwise they can forget it! Some of our techs thought they could "tweak" the colour, only to find that they were soon back for mismatches on other documents.... they learnt the hard way!Press the GREEN button!!Comment
