sorry,i'm trying to scann in color with a 4054 and appears in the pc monitor havent enough memory to scann.my question is:do i need any kind of update/extra memory to scann in color?( is an sp model) or maybe i must change the configuration in the driver?thanks for alll!!!!!!!!!!!

What type of scan? Scan to folder? Scan to email? TWAIN scanning? Scan to memory device? -

Check your resolution settings. Remember that when you scan in color the document size is going to be extremely larger. Example, 4 color scans will be 16 time larger than B/W. 256 color will be 64K times larger and so on. The larger that color clarity and resolution the larger the document. Try to restrict your scan to the lowest settings at first and scan only one page. check the document size and clarity and adjust from there.Comment
