[Jamming] Ricoh Pro 1106Ex Jam Code J022

Anyone can give good spot for the Jam Code J022. It is mentioned exit delay but I confuse in which 2 sensors after fixing involve on this jam code. Fixing motor and exit motor working, paper path checked and clean. Your reply is very much appreciated.

I would check the guides on the fuser exit when you open the top flap there are picker fingers on it, make sure the guide itself and fingers are free of toner buildup they can get crusty and catch paper same with the lower guide and the peeler pawl. Also you can replace the 2 one way gears that are between the fuser and heat pipe that drive the belts, over time they one ways go bad and will cause a lot of exit jams and heat pipe exit sensor jams. Also check the underside of the web casing and lower entrance guide to the fuser for toner crust.

Thats where i usually start after that i check the drive shaft for the fuser there is a pin that can get worn or sheared off, i have also had to replace the belts and bearings under the heat pipe assembly as well.

Only one sensor involved. The last sensor before the paper actually exits the main frame. J022 is the trail edge of the paper does not clear the sensor in time. Either the exit roller slipping or the lead edge is jamming in the first downstream device.
