    [Misc] MP 6002 Toner Issue

Started out as an SC 370 error. Resolved the error but started having add toner issues. Found and repaired the wire harness that connects to toner bottle holder (was pinched and had exposed wires) and had issue with dv unit & toner supply assembly. Replaced both dv unit & supply assembly and unit worked for a few days. Now has 0% toner again and have even tried different bottles. Cheated door and toner bottle turns am thinking may have to replace actual wire harness. Thoughts?

    * Device only has 275,000 but has been at location 3 years.

I would start with a new developer change.

Just because the toner bottle is turning does not mean that the toner is getting from the bottle to the toner hopper. Check the following:
      1. The toner chuck is not sticking and failing to open the toner valve
      2. The toner throttle is not closed
      3. The toner throttle is not clogged.

Might be a faulty toner end sensor. (the one on the toner hopper itself). Normal toner supply is regulated by the TD and ID sensor.

Sorry for not updating everyone on what fixed the issue. Ended up the male connector (the red one from the machine side that plugs into the toner bottle assembly) had come loose possibly due to not being soldered. I rewound the wires, used shrink wrap and this took care of the issue. Thanks for all the suggestions.
