Thank you for all of the great information. Went back and installed on her new computer. Everything works fine, go figure! -
scanrouter lite
Just creating an exception for the admin program to run will not allow a pass through in windows firewall. If by shutting down the firewall the destinations lists and scanning starts working open up port 3670 tcp in windows firewall this should be enough to get SRL working again. If you are using other programs such as DTB or Auto Document Link (I hope not) you can also try the extended procedure at this link http://www.tscweb.net/sdg/xpsp2issues.pdf
Remember to reboot the ricoh machine after you make any changes on the pcLeave a comment:

I didn't turn off the firewall but I made sure there were exceptions for the admin program. I will try turning it off and see what is going on. Customer will have a new computer for setup tomorrow so I will see what we get.
Thank you for the response.Leave a comment:

Used to work and now doesn't...... Take a look at possible changes to the PC security. Have you turned off the firewall for the PC with SRL on it for test purposes?Leave a comment:

Thank you for the response. I should of added that the MFP is set as a static IP address. We have a similar issue with Sharp copiers. I have also set the delivery server in the user settings and have reset the I/O device in the Adminstrative Utility. This has normally fixed the issue before but it is no longer working for some reason.
Thank you again for the response.Leave a comment:

Usually it is the Delivery server IP programmed in User Tools (or in some cases) SP mode. If the IP of the "server" changes, then you will no longer be able to update destinations. I try to set up networked MFP's to have a static ip for scanning with scan router. You may also need to set I/O device using the utility as they sometimes "drop off"
Good luckLeave a comment:

Scanrouter V2 Lite problem with Savin 4035 sp
The scanrouter in question was working fine. Customer has a mixed wireless and wired network SOHO setup with Macs and PCs (XP). Now it will not update the destination listing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled software, tried everything I could think of with the Adminstration utility, including new destinations. Used sim 5-8501 memory clear to clear the scanner function and nic card settings. Nothing seems to work. In the file transfer settings it shows that the computer IP address has updated properly but the destination update continues to fail. Have tried also with several other PC's, same result. Have also tried it wired and wirelessly.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and effort in this matter.
