Well Jan, I see I am not the only one you are rude to! If you are not really going to help, why not just stay off the forum? Seems you are only here to be a smart alek to people who are here for assistance!

On the machine you must input the IP address, subnet mask and gateway address in under User Tools->System Settings->Interface. Download the print driver to the PC/server, add printer, create TCP/IP port with the IP address of the machine.

Do you want to scan with Scanrouter or email?

How was that rude - a little thin on details perhaps, but rude?

Dude - feel free to check my other posts. Qualified question = qualified answer (exl. qualified english). I'm sorry if you don't share this attitude but I think I can expect that at a forum wich is intended for technicians. So again, I assume that this is a forum for technicians who have at least a little bit experience and knowledge - like reading a user manual, downloading drivers blablabla...

And no, I don't compare this case with yours because I know that you are dealing with a kind of serious issue but this one here appears just ridiculous to me.

But again - I don't see a problem because the link get's him access to ALL necessary information he needs to accomplish the miracle of printing and scanning.

Man, THAT was rude again, I'm so sorry

Perhaps its just his germanic sense of humour!

Mind you you I can get very sarcastic at times, its probably because I,ve been working with customers and salesmen for too long
At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.

Sweet, short and to the point.

Just the right response to a 'can you tell me everything' type question. I might have gone a step further and given him the link to the manuals page.

Now that I think of it...... here it is.
