    Scanning Line

I feel like this should be easy but i can't figure out the adjustment...when i scan a page into my computer i keep getting a line on the right side (the rear edge). I get this on several machines...see the attached pdf..this one isn't that bad, some are worse. Is this adjustment in user tools or in sp mode on sp 6-xxx-xxx?

Oh by the way it only does the line from the adf...on the glass there is no line.

And COPYING from the adf does NOT produce a line either, only scanning into my computer.

SP6017 adjusts the df magnification. I usually reduce it to within -.5 to -1

        Re: Scanning Line

In the original post, SP6017 does help get rid of the line but the pdf scan is still skewed a bit. Is there a way to straighten this out via SP or do you have to adjust the hinges on the SPDF.

** Edit Fix - I removed the set screw from the top right hinge on the SPDF and moved it to the adjustable slot, and repositioned things down a few mm. Now have perfect true scans. I settled on a setting of -.2 in SP6017 to get rid of the line.
