    Clogged print head (mpw c2200)

Is there any workaround to declog the print head of MPW C2200? Purging and cleaning several times of the print head have no effect. New replacement is the last option to do. Please help.

You have to be patient with this machine. I visit one every quarter, and the last time it took 5 cleanings and one flush to get K2 to show up. It took me about an hour to return the machine to 100%.

I trick I have found for the Brother and Epson inkjets. take a paper towel.. moisten with Simply Green... power up the unit... when the carriage move pull the cord to cut power... then take the paper towel and put it on the parking/wiper station move the head back over it... let it sit for about 30 mins .. reverse process and in one cleaning most times the head is back in shape.

The Bulletin that DRichard posted is for the CW2201 and it has 5 Print Heads and not 4 like the CW2200. Obviously, the Maintenance Recovery Assy will be different. Also, if you try the suggestion that Phil B. has posted I would suggest that you move the Print Head Assy to the Center of the Carriage (SP 2102-004 Select "3" for Center and Execute). Put paper underneath the Print Heads and then between the paper and the Print Heads a Sontara cloth soaked with water (if that fails try Isopropyl Alcohol though I have been told it will damage the membrane on the Print Head). The idea is to wick away any contamination that is clogging the Print Heads.
