[CQ] 5055SP spitting out toner from PCDU

    New Year Greetings .

New Installation 2 weeks ago and just after 1000 clicks on of these 55 spitting out toner from the top of the PCDU and is coating the ID sensor and transfer roller unit.
another 55 placed right next to this has 15000 clicks until now and running very smooth.

PCU has been cleaned twice ,gears, recycling coil and charge terminals all seems good.
    Geniune Toner
    No Power Issues

Kindly let me know if someone has this came across this issue and if New PCU is a fix as i went through an old Thread but it dons't point to anything.

Had this same problem back in February, it was coming from the center of the drum unit on the top. After doing the same thing as you did I replaced the Drum unit. Could not figure out what caused it to spit out the toner but after replacing the unit the problem did not come back

The PCDU part number is D202 0126.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

I believe its to much developer when setup. on the 4054 series when I rebuild a pcu I leave about quarter of the developer in the bag. I had 2 of these pcu that started spilling out toner on the ends before there next pm. since I have been doing this I haven't had anymore issues with spilling out. so you might want to try that next time. good luck
