Have a W3601/LW426 that had toner scattering, replaced the developer and that issue went away however:
Now have a SC 406 with vertical lines that appear to be charge lines. We triple checked our connections etc. Steps taken:
1.) Replaced T/S and charge unit, no change
2.) Replaced ID sensor, no change
3.) Drum had some nicks anyway, replaced drum and blade, no change
4.) Swapped MCU we had laying around, no change
5.) Replaced charge power pack, no change
Prints seem fine except for the "charge lines". After id sensor initialization, I show 3.9-4.1 VSG and 0.0 VSP. Ran initialization with blade disengaged to see if I could see the pattern on the drum but didn't see anything. My understanding is the LPH writes the patch. What are the symptoms of a dirty LPH (could it emulate a charge issue?) We blew some toner and crap around after removing the dev unit for the dev change. The lines clear up right before image is written and then continues on after.
I was in a rush, the lines are indeed vertical in attachment. Any opinions are welcome.
