    MPC 5502

Need a little advice. I am working on a Ricoh 5502 that the fuser is causing CQ issue. Is this fuser able to be rebuilt? If so, how long would it take?

Thank you. I work at Ricoh a long time ago but am not up to date now. A customer of ours acquired the machine for free and asked us to fix it. Thanks again.

The tech I was with is the one that saw the issue. Looks like the hot roller or belt is bad.

for this model and the 4502 you can actually use the sp c830dn fuser, with minor mods.

Usually you can pick up the entire 830dn fuser for the same price or cheaper (f. e. Ebay) than the parts needed to rebuild the one you have - and save yourself a lot of work at the same time. P/N 407098

Just remove the board in the picture and install the one from your old fuser .

Note: the euro (220V) model is 407099, the US (110V) is 407098
