Jams in a finisher might actually be a mechanical device jam such as a stapler, punch unit, jogger fence or the stack tray lift. The SC displayed after opening and closing the door is more detailed as to what device.

I looked in the SC history. only 1 code. 670 I think. it's a relativity new machine.
I swear I remember someone talking about a similar problem with the xx03 models, but I can't for the life of me find it. I'm trawling through all the tier 2 and rtb for both ranges and coming up blank.
I'm just hoping that someone, somewhere, has seen something similar and has an answer.

Was there also a service code that occurred at roughly the same time? Usually most finisher codes trigger a jam on first occurrence.

Got called out to an mpc6004ex showing jam in R1-R4 but no paper there.
opened and closed the doors and cleared the jam condition. There was no paper there. Not surprising cos 205 is a delay jam.
Lots of occurrences in the jam history.
Anyone any ideas ?
