[Jamming] Ricoh MP4001 document feeder DF3010

would it make any difference that this feeder misfeeds more when scanning to email than when scanning either to document server or scanning for copying??? The most common misfeed in the history log is 054. the two most common misfeed spots in SP7505 are -5 and -54 with more in -5 than -54. I've cleaned the pulleys and all paper sensors and the pads the sensors detect. After cleaning when I tried sending a stack of blank paper to an email account the feeder did act up but no misfeeds. I had to reboot copier to correct which is what customer says they have to do periodically. Feeder fed first sheet then no more but motor closest to left rear kept running for about 20 seconds then stopped???
    Thanks!!!
I do know this feeder has a lot of misfeeds in between pm's.

There are a couple mis-quoted replies on this thread so it's hard to make heads or tails out it but let's all try to be polite, there's no need to fight with other techs when it comes to fixing copiers. English is preferred for search engine and spam prevention reasons but I'm not gonna beat someone up for it, a simple reminder usually works fine.

                    Thanks,

I'm sorry my simple request/statement brought so much crap... but I ( @ 61 ) don't care to learn another language in order to help people here.. and for those that called me a bigot.. fine that is your right under the US Constitution Amendment 1.
But I wouldn't go to another country and NOT make an attempt to speak in the native language.
Not directed at your Sir.. but towards others.

@71 I learned how to use translate.google.com years ago. You do not need to know the language of the poster, it will auto detect. For many of those who are from areas where English is not their primary language, I would rather have them post in the language they are most comfortable with and I will use Google to translate.

have you replaced the reverse roller and the feed belt?
