    MP2550

    Hi guys

I have a MP2520 that's makes a crease in the paper. The machine has about 114k copies on. The crease looks the same as the type of crease made when the entrance guides of the fuser is packed on with toner or when the pressure roller is old. Difference is the writing that is affected by the crease has no toner in the fold. So it must be creased when it reaches the PCU.

The entrance guide has obviously been cleaned and the pressure roller replaced.

    Any ideas

Check pressure roll bearings, hot roller position in fuser frame and load springs if they are at the lowest press. position. The fuser entrance guide has two positions to screw it. As for the poor transfer it is obvious that when paper travels into the fuser with different speed-top to bottom-it affects copy quality at the "following" image.
