ricoh MP301 using external charge mgt to cntrol copier.

Hello everyone. i have a quite a few mp 301 now that we hook up to a coin box. works great but if someone leaves money in coin unit and is high enough to enable copier and it goes into energy saver mode. if you wait a while and then press energy saver mode button the copier will come on and code out to sc819 or will get function error press restart button to continue.

i have already updated to latest firmware on copiers and still same problem. if you press button right after it goes into energy saver mode comes up fine only if you wait a while does it code out.

On 1515 copiers they use to have were you could disable auto off mode in user tools. It never had this type of problem.

most likely it gets to a point were somethings in software gets turn off and wont boot back up properly. to clear code we just turn copier off and back on and it is fine.

    Any suggestion would be helpful.

You can specify this setting only if [Sleep Mode] is set to [Enable] in [Administrator Tools] in [System Settings].
      Default: [1 minute(s)]

I have look on three different copiers and no tab for sleep mode in system settings / administrator tools

      did they leave it out?
