    Automating address book backups

Is this possible? I'd like to setup an automatic backup of my whole fleet of Ricoh address books maybe once a week.

I've had a play with Device Manager NX Lite but not getting anywhere.

Have not played with Device Manager NX lite recently as I did not like the format they are using. Of course the only thing I was trying to use it for was address book backup and transfer to another machine. I'm still using the old system when needed.

If you do not mind learning PowerShell it may have the capability of doing this as you can set it to click on links automatically for you. Other than that I believe Ricoh has a commercial software that is designed for auto backup of fleet address books but it also has a lot of functionality beyond that.

If you do not mind, and depending on models, all machines having the same address book you can use the "Central Management" link in the web interface and set one machine as the "server" and the other's can sync from that. This way you only have one address book to manage. Admittedly this will not work for everyone but it can be a nice feature.

If you have not made any changes to the address book you do not need to make another backup. I always trained my customers to make address book changes through WIM. Then while still in WIM make a backup. If you have a customer with multiple machines that all use the same address book, update one, back that one up then export that backup the all the others.
