    Ricoh 1224

    Ricoh 1224

I have a very hard problem in the equipment, or it does not indicate an error code.

Always lock the role more in B, after the upper sensor, before entering the merger, and not swapped sensor said, noticed the engine of the drawer (only happened before with the drawer 1 is now happening with the two drawers)

testing of hardware via sp not work, someone has any idea?

I'm from Brazil, I'm using translator

    equipment msg:
    Lack of role

Open the lid and remove any given paper jam.
Tray 2, Tampa lower right, front cover, cover top right, right Tampa, Tampa unit of duplex

the message is similar to when used drawer 01, or does not print a sheet, yesterday also print the drawer 2 and 1 in the portrait, now stopped again

If the paper is stopping in the exact same spot each time, it will more than likely be related to a sensor problem. Either the machine thinks the paper is turned a certain direction in the drawer, like portrait vs. landscape, or the sensor is not properly changing state.

You said that the testing via SP does not work, but do you mean that you tried checking motor/clutch outputs and they don't work at all? Did you try the input checks to see if there is a sensor that does not change state when you put paper by the sensor? I would check the setting of the sensor, put paper there to change the state of the sensor, then take the paper away and check the sensor setting again to see if it changes from 1 to 0 or from 0 to 1.

Part of troubleshooting a problem like this is to see what does work, rather than what does not work, then narrow it down.

Stopping is exactly the same place, even changing the format of paper from landscape to portrait and landscape to portrait, I try to make sense of the tests by SP, which left me more angry is that sp active for the tests and nothing happens , motor, sensor, free run, I was thinking it can not roll of the sensor record

I don't think that you have a mechanical problem, like a motor or clutch, even though the output checks may not be working the way you want them to.

I haven't seen these machines in a LONG TIME, but the 5-803 input checks should still give you 0 and 1 modes for your sensors.

Someone with, ahem, more 1224 experience may have more insights than I do. The fact that the paper keeps stopping at exactly same place will probably be sensor related, whether it's working properly and detecting what it's supposed to, or it's stopping because the sensor is not working properly.

Look in Logging Data (SP7) how the paper jams. May help you to see if the problem is mechanical or a defective sensor etc...

Problem solved, the problem was in the clutch registration roll, swapped and solved the problem.

            thanks for your help!

remember jam and the front of the sensor can record the roll of cultch registration roll that is defective delaying the normal process of printing

So it looks as though the sensors were operating properly, telling you that you did have an actual jam. Then, they would have been properly changing state.

Strange that it was in the EXACT same place each time, unless the clutch was absolutely not firing at all, but you would have heard or not heard something on the clutch engagement on the output check.

              Good job on fixing it!!

after a time he came out a few leaves, and was paid more attention when I mentioned in detail, was in doubt for him or the activator of the transfer, because if it does not turn the roller transfer correctly, he would be in a position Incorrect impossible to cross the sheet and consequently making it stop and roll between the record of transfer. more able to observe that this actuator was working properly, after some testing and verifying that the image was shifted to the left outside the center, it was something to record. and bingo! I have finally resolved, because the sensors perform the tests and all work perfectly from 0 to 1 and 1 to 0 as talk

the problem has returned to happen, nor a printing prints again, always lock the roller between the registration and transfer, I am crazy
