I was so happy I had got my printer working fully that I printet out a manual, some 300 pages. But midway it gradually appeared a pink line across the printout.
See pdf.
What can the problem be?

Magenta PCDU.
Welcome to the world of as is/ where is purchases
just replace cleaning it will do a short term fix but it will come back
Hmm, ok. It should be in the, what is the name of the list, where service life is listed. I'll have a look there when it was changed.
But, just a question, every one of those 315 pages have the same blue line across it where the magenta line eventually appeared. Can there be some cross connection between colours when one colour is printed as a solid line on every page over several hundred pages?

You mentioned that it had been unused for a while.
RIGHT?
Those rubber rollers degrade over time.
Plus sitting unused ISN'T good those machines do better when run hard.

Yes there is a connection. All of the toner that didn't get transferred to the Image belt had to be cleaned off of the drum. There was a lot of toner in that area where the heavy blue line was. The cleaning blade was failing and couldn't keep up.
