I took it from a video.

Looks like you ordered the one from the 3003, no problem! You can fit it on anyway, just swap the bottom plastic cover, one with the other. The opposite cannot be done for the sake of lamp power.

The proper fusing unit for the MP C2003/C2503 is D1764021. The MP C2003/C2503 was an after thought by Ricoh. There are a number of differences between it and the rest of the CXX03 product line.

Thanks for the reply, I did it but I have error.
In addition to making a strange noise, with error Sc 549-04
I just changed the lower plastic part, what else can I do? Can I launch which SP?

What country are you in ? Did you get the correct fuser for your voltage ? In The UK the same fuser unit & sleeve will fit & work in the MP C2003 - MP C3503.

i agree with slim. looks like you have the fuser for the 3003, not the 2003.

Hers is the troubleshooting flow chart from the Service Manual for the MP: C2003/C2503. request one as it is not in the regular MP CXX03 manual.

I live in Italy, the fuser voltage is the correct one

                    [QUOTE=slimslob;n1567784]

Before changing the fuser I didn't have SC 549-04 error
There was only the error of replacing the fuser, given that it had reached the end of its life.
This error SC 549-04 appeared after installing the new one.
The problem is that even if I put the old one back, I get the same error.
                    :-(
I just changed the final plastic piece.

The piece is original Ricoh, this is it

Then the proper fusing unit is D1764022 is the proper fusing unit to use. It will install without any modification right out of the box. The error code is the result of having to exchange the bottom plate. I bet YouTube didn't tell you about having to change the base plate or provide you instructions on how to do it.

If cycking power does not clear the error, yoiu are going to need the PROPER service manual to repair it or buy the correct fusing unit.

it works, I've done it several times out of necessity.
if the fuser as it is, does not fit, it can only be 3003...no alternative
that error (from my memory) should be the shutter mechanism, perhaps the plastic was mounted crooked...assuming that new fuser arrived worked!

The fact that Ricoh added an entire troubleshoot section on just that error only in the manual for the C2003/C2503 tells me that it is very easy for something to go wrong when trying to swap the bottom cover, especially when done by a end user.

Infact, the flow its correct, in finaly, about 549-04 he Say of check shutter meccanism.
But i dont think that the plastic
interferes with the lever, maybe he didn't notice, and break it away(?)

should I look in the Ricoh C3003 manual?
I didn't break anything, I just changed the plastic underneath
