Ricoh C2050 - Problem with YELLOW

Hello, before I open up the printer, is this an easy problem like the yellow dum?

The page should be full yellow. Ignore the middle vertical line, that's a scanner dust. There's also yellow stain at the top where there should be no yellow.

IMHO you need a new PCU for the Yellow. When you pull the unit you might find the the photo-conductive coating is completely worn off where the yellow band is down the one side. The other color s will most likely need to be replaced soon. You are aware that dinosaur was introduced in December 2008 and replaced by the MP C2051 in February 2011.

Thanks for the input, I do know it's a dinosaur LOL, I just can't afford to buy a new one, I'll be happy if it can last me another year.

Try swapping the yellow PCU with another colour, that way you can rule in / out the drum being the issue.
