    [Error Code] MPC 4504SP Controller

Does anyone know if we could utilise a controller from a MPC4504sp onto another MPC4504sp, will this just not work, or can we get around this by performing a NVRAM clear ?

When replacing the controller, you should always put the NVRam from the old board on the new board. If there is still a problem then =it most likely is bot the controller. What is the problem you are having?

Thanks, Slimslob, we have a device with SC 672-11, Dead controller, I am aware that the NVRAMS will need swapping over, especially on a new controller, but we have a few devices that are going to the graveyard and I was wondering if a used controller will work on another device?

Ricoh put a bulletin out on SC 672-xx-1 back in March. copier tech posted it to a previous thread. I have attached it fro you. It includes a trouble guide to follow before you replace anything. SC672-xx-1.pdf

Yes you can reuse the board with no issue. Just swap nvram across. Update firmware after to make sure all levels across boards are the same. If the faulty device was set to dhcp with reservation then you will need to either set as static or give new Mac address to IT
