SFX2000M
I am new to the field so please bear with me. A person in my office has a Ricoh Secure Facsimile model SFX 2000M, they have had this fax for a few years and have never used it. They could not find the user's manual adn when I checked online all I could find was the user's manual for the FAX2000L series. This manual cannot possibly be the one to use for the SFX 2000M because there are a few inconsistencies between what the manual says I should be seeing and what I am actually seeing. For starters there is no jack on the back of the unit for either a handset or a telephone line. There is a serial port on the back, but I am not sure of its function because the user's manual for the 2000L series does not show a serial port on the back. I am very confused as to how this machine even operates. If anyone can help me out with this I would very much appreciate it.

The SFX range was only available in certain parts of the World and was a locally sorced product (ie. not out the main Ricoh factory).
Do you have any other information that could help identify, is there any additional product codes on the serial number plate etc.
