Ricoh PRO 5100s with Plockmatic Question

So my customer has a Ricoh C5100s with BK 5010e plockmatic with trimmer/folding/stapling.

The stapler units are non repairable and no longer available for purchase as they are discontinued from the mfg.

Has anyone tried to add a newer plockmatic to the C5100s, like the PBM 350/500. Is that even an option? Will the C5100 recognize the newer plockmatic.

    Any advice is appreciated.

You might want to contact Plockmatic directly to find out if the newer models are compatible with the Pro C5200s. The main concern would be if the interface to the SR4200 finisher.

Worst case scenario is you might have to go to using one as a stand alone booklet maker. Collated sets can be inserted into the Plockmatic to be made into booklets. I believe Plockmatic makers a feeder unit that will make inserting sets easier. https://plockmaticgroup.com/plockmatic/
