    however for now they work, usually we mount the original, we keep these as a second choice, for example on machines that will need to be replaced soon, or very old.

    Not something you want to try. I had a junior tech order the wrong sleeve unit once, 220Volt EU sleeve instead of a 110 Volt NA. Since he was already out for the day, I had to go install it. The 220v lamps didn't heat up fast enough so I had to swaps the lamps form the old unit with a torn belt to the new one. Disassembly was easy. Reassembly was not.
