Ricoh guys please help. I have a MP C2004ex that I am sending back for a customer. I am not a Ricoh tech. How do I format the HD?
Thank you in advance.
If Disk Overwrite Security System has been properly enabled, you do not have to. In fact any data will have been erased a lot more securely than formatting will do.

I work with Kyocera, they have a data salinization which gets rid if everything including the address book then prints a page that shows that was done. That is what I am looking for here.

There is a special SP model that will allow you to wipe the HDD/address book & clear all passwords but since you are not a Ricoh tech you won't know about this.
You could remove the HDD & format it using a USB caddy in Windows.
