        OK, now I follow you. And you are right, these are the weak point of this and the 15/18 cmp pcus also. Two are on the mag roll and 3 are on the dev mixers. But arnt the copper ones noisy?
        I think developer in the gears is what kills them. Not sure if copper will make that big a difference.
        The life of the PCU is only 60k for the 22/27

          Not true. I buy them all the time.
          B039-3062 and 3060 on the mag roll. The part #s are from the 15/18 and 25/30 pcats. We dont replace the gears on the mixers as the seals are too delicate. Just replace the developer section.

            yes ! u are right ! it will make noisy.u said the develop will kill them , what i do is make two holes in the bottom (under the 2 gears which on the develop mix stick) and let the developer go out through the two holes.
            another problem is the vt vts will complication , and i change the toner supply mode to fixed 2 (2921=3)

                  that gear was made plastic bcoz there is a weakness in the design of that drum and dev drive.... now that you made it into a metal gear another gear will break and probably two at the same time.....
