    PRO 8100 RT5080 with ocasional J057

    Hey guys, has anyone had this one, as the title is saying machine has ocasional J057, seems randomly, looks to me like i should clean or replace gears and bearings in LCT, just wondering before i go with it if anyone dealt with this
    Gears,springs,clutches,sliders,connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?

    J057 is a lag jam. That means that the trail edge has cleared the sensor either too early or too late. Could be a bad sensor, wrong paper length or static causing chain feeding. That is where one sheet of paper builds up enough static to drag the next sheet out of the tray. Usually caused by bad grounding of the LCIT.
