    What "adjustments"?
Is this only through the Feeder or from glass as well?
If DF only, it seems that the registration and/ or magnification needs adjustment
    SP6xxx.

ALSO....why , when you are standing in front of an excellent scanner, do you choose to take a picture instead?
A full size PDF is WAY more helpful for diagnosis

When it comes to doing margins adjustments I have found that it is always best to start with the platen glass. I also check the paper trays for properly set side fences. If those are not correct, there is no way you can correctly adjust the ADF. When making ADF adjustments the first thing to do is make sure that all the sensors are clean. If not, the lead edge of the original may not be accurately detected.

Maybe it's the angle of the photo but your first scanner looks off. Maybe skewed.

Some good suggestions from the other techs. Try those first.

I would like to suggest, if you find that you cannot adjust the leading or trailing registration and the side to side registration then it could be a board problem. Ive had a fed of these in situations where there's power surges and electrical issues

Using ADF to copy or scan, the horizontal lines become lighter.
Jpeg looks faster and view it without downloading.

Left paper is colored photocopy, right original copy what it's supposed to look like.

Let me try first and second suggestions if it doesn't work out, probably the board might be the issues. I pray it's not so. Thanks.

This is your first scanner. I've ringed it in red. In the picture it doesn't look straight. Maybe it's the picture, maybe it's the first scanner. You need to check that

He has laid them on the platen glass and then taken the picture while standing in front of the C5503 near the control panel. What you have actually circled is the exposure lamp as seen under the slit glass.

I would be more concerned with the amount of edge misalignment. It appears to be beyond the adjustment range of the DF registration adjustments of +or- 5mm. It looks more like paper tray side fences being a couple of teeth when feeding LEF, Long Edge First. I have seen if often when someone tries to move the fences without unlocking the rear fence.

Removed lamp and reset it, still the same.

After looking at the picture you posted, it is not how the lamp is mounted in the holder. It is the scanner wires being out of adjustment. You will need 4 A1849501 Scanner Positioning Pin (2pcs/set). If the rear of lamp carriage and the mirror carriage align to the positioning holes in the frame then the front cable drum has slipped on the shaft. Loosen the locking screw and move the front of one of the carriages until the front locking pins drop into position. Tighten all locking screws before removing the positioning pins.

Also check to see it there is anything obstructing the front end from traveling the entire distance as that may have caused the initial problem.
