Ricoh MP 3053 pop up message saying replace PCU

I had this unit remanufactured 3/11/2022 and so far no problem . Still prints perfect but message appeared on the screen and beeping. How can I make it go away ?

I would just enter sp mode > system > data log > PM counter clear > execute for whatever color it is, then reboot the machine. However, it still may be time to replace the pcu.

Based on your saying that it is beeping, more than likely SP 5067 is set to user replacement of the PCU and the PCU has reach either the PM page count or PM distance. It will continue until until the PM counter is cleared. Depending on the average number of pages per job you may or may not need to have the PCU rebuilt or replaced. If you do not replace/rebuild expect that within the next 20K to 30K pages it will start to develop drum spots on outer edges of ledger/DLT and LEF LT paper. At that time the drum has reached it end of life.
