Cannot open WIM with Apple Mac with Ventura

Hello, I am having an issue where 2 of a customer's new Macs with Ventura OS cannot see the WIM.
    They can print however.
I type the IP in a browser page URL line and it comes back with page not found on both Macs.
They can scan with their older Macs.
    Any help appreciated!

Have you tried using the network name?

What browser are they using? If it is Safari or Edge have them try Firefox.

You weren't clear if there are also PC's in the office and if they CAN access the WIM.
You mentioned older Macs being able to scan but not if they could access the WIM?

      Either way, Check this:

UT / Machine settings / Interface
Permit SNMPv3.....(set it to encryption/ cleartext) | Permit SSL/TLS..... (set it to cyphertext/ cleartext)

      * If they are set respectively to encryption only and Cyphertext only the WIM is not accessible regardless whether using a PC or MAC

I have also found that if someone has created a Site Certificate on a Ricoh MFP, you have to access as Https://(IP address)

i usually access ricoh interface using chrome. but have also used edge. don't know if the mac has an issue with that. i would try to install either or, if you can. i rarely have to deal with mac, thank goodness.

SNMP has nothing to do with accessing the Web interface.

There's a lot of protocols that I don't remember much about. SNMP I do somewhat remember. Correct me if I'm wrong but SNMP is basically a monitoring protocol that gathers information on different network devices. For instance, it lets you know if a device goes offline. I think there's different ways that SNMP can gather this information depending on how SNMP is configured. Unfortunately, I never played around with SNMP so that's about all I know.

It's a great protocol, however no need to hijack the thread on its value.

I'm certainly not at the level of IT knowledge to debate you.
I have a ton of respect for what you offer here and have learned a lot from you.
I fully admit to not knowing anything about what it's real world purpose or use actually is. All I know is that when I enable 'encryption only" in that section (which I just did on a machine here at my office), I can't access my own WIM.

Can you access the WIM from the older macs?

I know that if "IEEwhatever Authentification" is enabled in admin settings you'll end up in WIM connection issues.

It it is set, either the greatly over priced Ricoh wireless board is installed or a high end authentication protocol such as Kerberos in setup.

Hello and thanks to everyone for the information. I got it to connect, it was possibly a bad switch box.
