    [CQ] Ricoh MP C4503 SCANNED DOCUMENT PRINT ISSUE

    Try to print out scanned document, PDF format and this happened.
    Original document look just fine when preview from PC.

    I hope you can help me with any suggestions or comments.

    That's an heavily compressed document - those are compression artifacts.

    You might be able to see them on the computer screen if you change your viewing angle (try looking at the screen from the bottom up).

    The only solution I can think of is to scan the documents with less compression.

      Change the scan settings from Photo to Auto color setting.

          so by eye, I see some shadows, it seems to be set to photo mode (which is not the best for a document)... put text mode... you have to play a bit with the resolution and compression settings.

            Used it for years with no issues. The key is to also make sure the scan is bumped up from the fax quality 200x200 to 300x300, which is more suited for documents and cleans up a lot of issues that the lower resolution leaves behind.
