    2238 ricoh color

    does anyone know how to rebuild oil bottle unit.do they need chips to reuse them.or can they be rebuilt at all seems such a waist of materials

    just replace the oil bottle, or do u have a problem you didn't outline?And do the new oil/add oil in sp mode ,sorry!

      ok there is a fuse so one should be able to refill bottle and install new fuse.going to have to read up on this.should be possible

          likely to cause more problems with poor / uneven oil supply due to dirty rollers, fuser jams and or damage. Is it worth the trouble? You would have to drill into the unit to fill with oil which may in itself contaminate the supply.

          Sp5990-2??? SMC SPmode???

            Replace oil unit, then sp 5803-7 and 1 to enable new unit, my apologies

              I posted this instead ( ther'es a big word for the spanish), I should've replied. tsc04 you're head movement seriousely worries me, what were you thinkin'..... ther's a lot of underlyin' stuff there, sod the copiers (mm)!
              Let's hear it all in GLORIOUXS 1224c colour (just threw the x inn to mess up the spanish) wadderyatink?
